Truth – The Many Names.

Truth is one, the Sages speak of it by many names.

The Vedas (The Hero with a Thousand Faces, Joseph Campbell)

The many names of truth are spoken when one is in accordance with the truth in themselves. This truth, from any religious or spiritual perspective is a truth from the Universe as truth to you to have as your own. When truth awakens within the self, the truth shared and given is for those who wish to believe that Truth has many names.

The truth that comes to light as the many names — The Buddha, Jesus, Allah, Adonai, are all names of a central source of divinity. These truths are inherent within each of us and come to exist as the ways in which we find faith inside ourselves. When truth arrives, it is the place inside ourselves that we find that we have been led to. This finding of truth is in our nature, a call to be a spiritual being whose existence is to accept the truth of who we are in faith of.

The search for truth is way of life for those who wish to understand the nature of the Universe or of God. Those who find that they are in touch with truth, find that all religions and spiritualities share the same common understanding. This understanding is that all life is scared, beautiful, spiritual and conscious. The common goal for any religious or spiritualist, is to show kindness and compassion to all.

When we look upon the face of The Buddha, the image of The Cross, or perhaps even see those who are in surrender to Mecca, we find that each of us are surrendering to the gnosis (hidden) aspect of the divine within. The divinity that calls forth for each of us, to find our faith in life, is the faith that we come to understand in all people. This personal, very intimate connection with the divine is the call to find the truth within ourselves, so as to be able to tell the world that we are as receptive and giving of faiths and religions.

In the words of the Mundaka Upanishad — Truth alone triumphs. This personal statement of truth, makes it so, that once truth is discovered, it stands the test of time and holds faith close to our hearts and minds. We are then, the truth we are tell ourselves, as well as others, to whom truth belongs. The truth is always within and without. To know it, one must be willing to accept all sides of truth as well as surrender to truth itself.
